Family Day (and beyond)

heyhey guys. i reckon we all (din) enjoy ourselves during Family Day this year, did we?

i fancy it was pretty much not as well as each of us expected it to be. i mean, shooting volleyballs into netball hoops from like 2~3 metres away doesnt exactly sound like fun, after all.

what more picking the stupid balls for others?

ah well. at least it was an experience. wasnt it now? a pretty shytty experience but one nonetheless. now, the common tests are all around two corners, arent they? thought so.. all the best for this test, and the next, and the prelims and finally the As ya?

jyjy ppl!! dun let ur ccas affect ur studies too much!! we're all geniuses, i say!

so lets own! get top of level in class placings for each and every subject!!

=)

but dun overstress ya?

peace

Updates on school

It's been a wild wild week. Competitions for all CCAs are starting. Stress ain't it? Yeah, we all feeling the heat right now. Jia you to all the people who've got matches and/or performances coming up.

Anyway, let's wrap up the week shall we? E-Learning days on monday and tuesday. I'm guessing its a unaminous consensus that it was a failure? Whoever so disagrees ought to be drugged out onto the street and shot for pure ignorance. Major lags. What can you expect from school tech, or any tech that the school employs? tsk. Being the resourceful beings that we are, we were hence forced to seek alternative methods to obtaining our work. Ironic, that we might go through such painstaking procedure to actually obtain work...

Today, friday 13th. How appropriate. Release of PW results. Sad to say, ( and i think its true) the class was somewhat mediocre? More or less gets the mood. Only three dudes got an A. Well, congratulations to you, mates. But seriously, what prevented us from reaching the same level?

Might have been the input we got. Not exactly the best, and I'm getting the impression that the expectations set were extremely low, such that yes, we may have reached what was expected of us, but hell it's only a B or a C. Goddamn. Were we so incapable of reaching that distinction? Or was it that the information we were given was far from perfect. Perhaps we overestimated what was opined to us. Overestimated to such disastrous results.

Well, lesson learnt. Don't be so naive next time. Be not swayed by the opinions of others.
